SMCv5 dramatically improves the issue identification and resolution process

With SMCv5, identifying design and modeling problems is easier than ever. With the advanced sectioning tools, it is now possible to isolate and address issues, by location. The SMC model can now be updated with new versions of IFC files while preserving previous decisions, remarks, and presentations. SMCv5 also introduces a new collaborative reporting capability to improve the process of resolving issues and verifying corrections. The “Coordination Report” is a quality assurance tool which can be shared with the entire project team to collect proposed solutions and related comments.
