Case Sigge Architects: Possibilities with Solibri in ecological housing design

In this webinar, Aino Koivunen from Sigge Arkkitehdit presents project “Harppuunakortteli”, a residential housing project built in Turku, a coastal city in Finland. Once completed, the Harppuunakortteli block will have 12 houses, forming a village-like community and homes to thousands of people in a setting with cultural history. The area will offer its residents different outdoor activities from gardening to relaxation and exercise in a running track surrounding the block.

Several ecological factors have been taken into consideration in the project right from the start, such as parking for 300 cars with electric charging spots and having a modern stormwater system. Harppuunakortteli is the largest site in the Nordic countries with renewable energy – once ready, it will be almost entirely energy self-sufficient. Recycled materials have been used in the construction. Join this webinar to hear more about how the ecological factors have been considered in this exceptional project, and how Solibri has helped as the tool that contributes to the collaboration and progress.
