Pratt Manhattan Center, USA Speaker: Michael McCune, AIA Senior Building Information Specialist, CASE Solibri Model Checker is a powerful, but underutilized model checking tool. To put a stop to this, Michael will lay down some goodness on how to integrate Solibri Model Checker into your BIM workflow. Michael will cover how to configure Revit's IFC export options and will demonstrate not only the amazing results of the checks, but also how to configure Revit and Solibri to perform these checks. If you’re hoping it will just be a glossy overview, be forewarned, it may get technical. The checks will include clash detection, progress analysis, program analysis, code analysis, geometry validation, data validation, take offs, complex design intent checking, and more! Running checks is not enough though. You have to be able to distribute these results to the team. Michael will finish with demonstrating how BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) can be used to document and distribute the results/issues to the various parties.
