Easier navigation, clearer dimensions
In this release, we introduce a new Simple floor selection tool. With the Simple floor selection tool, it is easy and fast to view a single floor without having to jump back and forth in the selection basket. The show/hide floor selection tool is located in the 3D toolbar, giving users an effortless way to view single or multiple federated floors in the 3D view.
With the Dimension tool in Solibri, you can measure the distance between any two points. To avoid these dimensions "sinking" into components and becoming hard to read, dimensions can now be set to always be displayed in front of components. Under dimension settings, there is an option to "Display dimensions in front of components".

Automate your checking routines with Solibri Autorun
Autorun is now available for all Solibri Office users!
Solibri Autorun is for automating routine tasks in Solibri Office. With Autorun, tasks such as running checks, exporting the found issues as BCF files and creating presentations, are pre-defined in an XML file, which is given as a command line argument or scheduled task for Solibri to execute. As a result, you have your daily model checking done, for example, overnight and you can focus on issue handling and quality coordination.

Customize Solibri with the help of the Solibri Developer Platform and its API’s
Solibri Developer Platform is meant for the developers who want to customize Solibri through API’s. Developers can customize, for example, rules in addition to custom views, information and settings. To facilitate development the Solibri Developer Platform includes an API landscape, a documentation package, and a dedicated discussion section in Solibri Society. To join the Solibri Developer Platform, please register to the Solibri Society first.
In this release, we also present various new API’s: Custom views, Custom information and Custom settings.
Custom views allow developers to create their customized views and windows, further allowing them to customize Solibri to work the way they desire. It’s also possible to make the views dynamic by reacting to events, such as finishing a checking process, so that the view gets updated based on the checking results.
Custom information enables developers to define custom information for building components. Custom info’s will be displayed in the information view in a separate tab. They can be referred to in filters, classifications and ITOs. This makes it possible to extract any arbitrary data about components. It also makes it possible to extend built-in information and build powerful classifications and filters.
Custom settings API makes it possible to define custom settings for the software. The customized settings will be available in the default settings user interface. These settings can then be used in custom rules, custom information definitions, or custom views. This can be used, for example, to fetch settings from external sources such as file systems, web services, or databases.
