Solibri 9.12.8 Release Notes

This release brings many additions to Autorun. It also contains some bug fixes mainly for BCF Live Connector and IFC Import.

Improvements

Autorun

  • Added support for creation of model category.
  • Added support for BCF version 2.1.
  • Added support for automatic update.
  • Added support for running ITOs.

Other improvements

  • Added support for BCF 3.0.
  • Added “Get started” role and layout for new users - Allowing first time users to learn more quickly how to get the value out of Solibri Desktop.
  • Solibri Score now shows a placeholder text when the industry type is not selected.
  • Added Elevation to Location properties.
  • Added access to Predefined Type (Type Enumerations) via API.
  • Updated End User License Agreement document.

Bug Fixes

BCF Live Connector

  • Fixed an issue where BCF Live was unable to sync issues with an empty due date.
  • Fixed an issue in BCF Live where Due date falls back to an earlier day than the set day.
  • Fixed an issue where Authentication to Trimble Connect did not work.

IFC Import

  • Fixed an issue where components were not displayed correctly (after exporting from Revit).
  • Fixed issues with IFC geometry creation.
  • Fixed an issue with IFC component import.
  • Fixed an issue where Door with shape representation identifier ‘Footprint’ was imported as a 3D shape.
  • Fixed an issue where Field IfcElementType.ElementType was not read in Solibri in the case of USERDEFINED type.
  • Fixed an issue where Solibri deleted spaces from IFC that did not contain geometry.
  • Fixed an issue where The Predefined type value was missing for some elements.

Other fixes

  • Solibri Building.ifc sample model has been updated.
  • Fixed an issue where Fingerprint could not be created in Offline Licensing Tool on a computer where WMIC is disallowed.
  • Fixed an issue where the description of rule 226 issues appeared as missing.
  • Fixed an issue where some roles were not connected to the correct resource paths.
  • Fixed an issue where Translations of the word “structure” were wrong in German resources like rulesets, rules, ITO’s and classifications.
  • Fixed an issue where the editing property set got stuck.
  • Fixed an issue where changing units in settings didn’t change units in ITO.
  • Fixed an issue where ObjectType and ElementType Values were not visible in the interface.
  • Fixed an issue where the Score rule coverage chart appeared with wrong colours.
  • Fixed an issue where Rule 1 throws NullPointerException error.
  • Fixed an issue where Volume and Area values got converted from mm to m in API.
  • Fixed an issue where gatekeeper rules would show different results compared to older versions of Solibri.
  • Fixed an issue where the Solibri taskbar icon was missing from login and product selection screens.
