Solibri Spotlight - Issue 2016-06

Containing OUTSTANDING new capabilities to streamline your workflow.

Welcome to our September newsletter!

This issue will serve as an introduction to our latest release, SMC v9.7. We are also going to provide you with information that will hopefully make you an even stronger advocate of the Solibri Model Checker technology. When you have an application that is still clearly ahead of the market, in many areas, it would be easy to just sit still. That is not our business model. We continue to enrich the product with features and functions that can make your life easier, and your project workflow more streamlined, and more efficient. We remain focused on applying rules-based checks to verify compliance, while ensuring that model data is both accurate and accessible.

In our previous issues, we consistently mentioned that SMC is applying logic and verifying behavior in models. SMC v9.7 certainly delivers in those areas, as several of the new capabilities are focused specifically on ways for people to work more efficiently with federated, or multi-disciplinary models. This means the software adapts to the way YOU would like to work, as it should.

Wherever possible we have tried to identify the benefit to you, of each new item. We are well aware that SMC can deliver a LOT MORE than what is currently being required or expected. That will change, as agencies and owners gain more confidence in BIM and start to require consistent Quality as a necessary output. You will be very well positioned as an accomplished SMC user. In short, the market is moving TOWARD YOU!
