Granlund signs enterprise deal with Solibri to ensure high quality in their projects
The Finnish company, Granlund Group, specializing in the real estate and construction sectors, increase their Solibri usage company wide. This increase in usage correlates with the need to ensure quality is implemented across their projects, both present and future tense. Granlund Group’s key aim is to make properties more functional, smarter and to improve human well-being in the built environment. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to use solutions such as Solibri to strive towards this goal.
"We see Granlund as pioneers in the Finnish market for standardizing how the MEP sector is doing BIM, which I believe will not only impact Finland but also extend its influence beyond our borders in the future. This is why we are very happy to sign an enterprise agreement to strengthen our already long-lasting collaboration with Granlund by unlocking the full potential of Solibri,” states Lauri Luoma, Solibri’s Enterprise Manager.
Tero Järvinen, Granlund’s Development Director, highlights the importance of paying attention to the accuracy of information content, and not just to the collision checks in building technology.
"Granlund's approach cannot be to blindly submit our IFC models for review to the building information model (BIM) coordinator without conducting extensive self-checks. With Solibri, we can create unified and efficient inspection rules at the company level, which can be shared with our employees to perform these inspections.
“The importance of the accurate and machine-understandable information content will increase in the future, and we will be able to deliver standardized information content and utilize precise IDS-formatted requirements, provided by the client. To meet future challenges, we need to develop our own quality assurance regarding information content. Solibri is the right tool for this.” says Tero Järvinen.
