Solibri Named to the 2026 BuiltWorlds Building Tech Top 50

Solibri has been recognized in the Quality Assurance category of the 2026 BuiltWorlds Building Tech Top 50, a list compiled from BuiltWorlds' annual Building Tech Benchmarking Survey, direct industry research, member feedback, and case studies across the construction technology sector.

BuiltWorlds organizes the list around a building's full lifecycle: Early Concept & Feasibility, Design Development, Quality Assurance, Construction, Operations & Handover, and Building Operations/Smart Buildings. Quality Assurance now standing as its own category reflects a shift the industry has been slow to name directly. Model coordination and rule-based validation are no longer a step inside design or construction workflows. They are risk management in their own right.

That shift matters most where the cost of getting it wrong is highest. U.S. construction loses an estimated $177 billion a year to rework and inefficiency, cost that traces back, project after project, to errors validated too late or not at all. In 2025, Solibri users worldwide identified 2.1 billion issues in their BIM models, avoiding an estimated $1.94 billion in rework costs before those errors reached the construction sites.

"Quality assurance has become its own discipline because the cost of skipping it is no longer hidden," said Ville Kyytsönen, CEO of Solibri. "Every issue our users catch before construction is cost, schedule, and risk removed from a project before it becomes a problem on site and a cost for the owner. This recognition reflects work happening every day, model by model, on projects across the United States and around the world."

Solibri supports both Revit-based and IFC-based workflows, giving architecture, engineering, and construction firms one independent validation layer regardless of how their models are authored. For firms managing multi-disciplinary coordination on complex or regulated projects, that layer is where standardized quality assurance gets enforced consistently, project to project. Solibri continues to expand its capabilities, with more built specifically for U.S. customers arriving in the months ahead.
