Solibri Model Checker v9.9.3.93 Release Notes

A comprehensive list of the release contents.

This release focuses on introducing new features such as flat list views in checking results and showing profile information in Information Takeoffs, as well as improvements to existing rules and bug fixes.

New features:

  • Flat list view for checking results:
    • There's a new option to view the checking results in a flat list view.
    • Find a new button for it in the header of the Results window.
  • Flat list view for checked components:
    • There's a new option to view the checked components in a flat list view.
    • Find a new button for it in the header of the Checked Components window.
    • The list shows the number of issues found per component. The list is sorted by the number of issues (descending order), and, in case of an equal number of issues, the severity of the issue is considered.
  • Profile information in Information Takeoffs:
    • There's a new column option: Profile.
    • The Profile column can list the following information: Profile Type, Profile Name, Profile Parameters.

Improvements:

  • The performance of zooming to related components in checking results has been improved.
  • Japanese font has been changed to Meiryo UI on Windows:
    • Using the font requires having the Meiryo UI font installed and having Japanese as the system locale.
  • Accessible Ramp Rule (Rule#207):
    • There is a check for head room clearance above the ramp.
    • Failed ramp checking due to slope or gradient specifications is visualized.
  • Accessible Door Rule (Rule#208):
    • There is a check for landing or intermediate landing at every door opening.
  • Accessible Stair Rule (Rule#210):
    • Checking headroom clearance above stairs has been improved.
    • There is a check for extra step before or after intermediate landing.
    • The calculation for clear width of landings has been improved.
  • Comparison Between Property Values Rule (Rule#231):
    • The count operator is available for numeric property references.
  • Horizontal Structures must be Guarded against Falling (Rule#236):
    • Checking the barrier height including railings has been improved.
  • Parking Rule (Rule#237):
    • An example ruleset has been added. It's available under the Rulesets/Example Rules folder.
    • An example classification has been added. It's available under the Classifications folder.
  • Accessible Route Rule (Rule#238):
    • An example ruleset has been added. It's available under the Rulesets/Example Rules folder.

Bug Fixes:

  • When saving Solibri Model Checker models, the error in saving due to classifications with hyperlinks has been fixed.
  • The error in opening SRE extension files has been fixed.
  • The error in checking the predefined rule "Horizontal Structures must be guarded against falling (Rule #236)" has been fixed.
  • The Color editor dialog in Classification Settings no longer disappears to the right of the screen.
  • When updating a presentation in Solibri Model Checker from a BCF file that was initially created in Solibri Model Viewer, the software no longer creates extra slides and comments in the presentation.
  • When creating user input tasks for a new ruleset, the name and description of the task were misleadingly not saved before filling in the Property Name field. The OK button is now disabled until entering the property name.
