What’s new in Solibri Office – March 2025
Update your Solibri Office (v 25.3.0) with new features including formulas for ITOs, enhanced measurement tools and new issue integrations for Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360.

What’s new in Solibri Office v25.3.0?
In this release, we are excited to introduce several major enhancements that elevate the functionality and usability of Solibri Office. This version brings long-awaited features such as formulas in ITO and Classification, an improved measurement tool, and further refinements to Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 issue integration.
Additionally, we have made further updates to rules and included various bug fixes to ensure a smoother user experience.
#1. Solibri Formulas
One of the most requested features is now available for ITO (Information Takeoff) and Classifications—formulas! Solibri Office users can now utilize formulas to enhance workflows, dynamically process data, and automate calculations.
Columns in ITO and Classifications are now labelled with letters (A, B, C, etc.), making formula writing more intuitive. A new column type, "Formula," allows for dynamic calculations within ITO tables. Users can now select between manual text input or the new formula-based values in Classifications.
Formulas always start with an equals sign (=). As users type, auto-suggestions filter available functions and column names. Formulas automatically update references when columns are reordered.
These enhancements provide a more powerful and flexible way to extract, manipulate, and classify data directly within Solibri Office. Click here to read into Solibri Formulas in more depth.
#2. Enhanced Measurement Tools
A new and improved Measurement tool replaces the previous Distance tool, offering a more versatile and accessible way to measure objects within Solibri Office. The Measurement tool is now implemented as a separate view, providing greater control and usability.
The new capabilities include measuring distances between points, total path lengths, angles between lines or three points, and slopes. Users can measure the surface area of an individual component, polygon areas enclosed by selected points, and the volume of selected components. The tool also displays 3D coordinates of selected points.
This improved measurement functionality ensures users have access to accurate and diverse measurement tools, making analysis and verification more efficient than ever.

#3. Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 Issue Integration
Solibri Office continues to enhance its Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM 360 integration, offering direct access to ACC/BIM 360 issues within Solibri.
Issues created in ACC/BIM 360 now include viewpoint support, improving issue tracking between platforms. Priority, Labels, and Stage fields from Autodesk issues are now configurable within Solibri. Bidirectional issue updates ensure real-time alignment between Solibri and Autodesk platforms.
Some default Autodesk issue fields require special handling for proper mapping. Users need to create specific project folders to support viewpoint image attachments. Issue comments can be added but not modified from Solibri. There are also 3D visualization limitations for issues created in Solibri, as Autodesk does not yet fully support Solibri-generated viewpoints.
This integration improvement ensures seamless collaboration, helping project teams align issue tracking across platforms with minimal friction.

#4 IDS Editor updates
We have made significant updates to our IDS Editor. Now, you can define, manage and refine Information Delivery Specifications (IDS) directly within your Solibri ecosystem. This provides a structured and efficient way to specify project requirements, ensuring consistency and compliance across all stages of your project lifecycle.
Using IDS and Solibri’s IDS Editor throughout your projects will ensure data accuracy, clarity, and compliance from the very beginning.
The IDS Editor is available to all Solibri Office users with a valid subscription or service license agreement. Log in with your Solibri credential to get started:

#5. New Beta Extension - Carbon Checker Germany (Ökobaudat)
Solibri now supports the Carbon Checker Ökobaudat Database extension, allowing users to integrate generic emission factors (A1-A3) into BIM objects. This extension provides essential carbon footprint analysis capabilities within Solibri Office.
The extension includes preloaded emission factors from the Ökobaudat Database. Users can work in either German or English, enhancing accessibility. The tool enables detailed carbon calculations by material, component type, or technical discipline.
To get started, the extension is available through the Solibri Solution Center Beta, where Solibri admins can assign it to users for installation.
