Solibri 9.12.5 Release Highlights: Easy distribution of customized rules and views
Solibri Developer Platform (SDP) provides various ways to customize Solibri and access model information. SDP and its API’s can be used for creating customized rules, views, settings, and information for Solibri Office. It is beneficial for organizations who have specific BIM quality or model requirements that are harder to meet with the default rules and information that comes with Solibri.
Starting from this release, it is possible to bundle the customized rulesets and views and share them via company extensions.
This means the customized resources can be more easily distributed within the company via Solibri Solution Center (SSC).
SDP consists of Solibri API landscape, documentation package and dedicated discussion forum for developers to customize Solibri. The SDP itself can be utilized by users with advanced Solibri knowledge, as well as development capabilities, or 3rd party development companies in the AEC area. For more information, please see our repository on GitHub with plenty of source code examples and templates, in addition to the documentation and manuals. For SDP related questions, direct support, and discussions, we provide a dedicated place in our Solibri Society.
Other improvements
We have resolved an issue where snapshots were disappearing from presentations created by importing BCF files. In addition, it is now possible to turn on the keeping of images in the memory setting, to store the images in the computer’s memory instead of the disk. Turning this function on may improve performance in case there is enough memory to be utilized.
We have also fixed a few other bugs.
