Update your Solibri Office for performance improvements, SAP integration, new accessibility rule, and more.

We are excited to release Solibri Office v 25.6.0, featuring SAP integration, powerful new rule for accessibility, IDS Editor updates, and a host of usability improvements. Dive into what’s new and see how these updates can elevate your BIM quality assurance workflows.
1. Files Integration with SAP
We’re thrilled to announce direct files integration with SAP! In line with our existing integrations, you can now connect to SAP by simply authenticating from Solibri and selecting your required path. This streamlined process ensures your project data flows effortlessly between platforms, supporting even more connected and efficient collaboration.

3. New Rule #246: Accessible Space
Ensuring accessibility just got smarter. The new Rule #246: “Accessible Space” brings advanced accessibility checking of your models, verifying not only that required clearances exist—such as turning zones and maneuvering areas—but also that these spaces are truly accessible from passageways like doors, accounting for obstacles and spatial restrictions.
Key Features:
- Apply precise filters for both spaces and obstacles
- Automatically merge spaces as needed
- Define free space as a cuboid or cylinder, with full control over dimensions and elevation
- “Free path to passage ways” option confirms unobstructed access from doors
- Set passage way filters and path width parameters, with automatic elevation alignment
- Instantly review results with clear visual feedback pinpointing any issues

This rule delivers enhanced clarity and flexibility to accessibility verification, helping you ensure safety, compliance, and usability for all building users.
You can find guidelines on how to use Rule #246 in this help article.
Note: Rule #246 is not backward compatible and will not run in older Solibri versions.
3. Solibri IDS Editor just got better
The Solibri IDS Editor is an online tool for creating and editing Information Delivery Specifications (IDS). If you haven’t explored it yet, the IDS Editor streamlines the process of specifying what information your BIM models must contain, ensuring data quality and compliance throughout your project lifecycle.

With the latest v1.3.0 update, the IDS Editor introduces several significant enhancements:
- Expanded IFC Class Support: You can now select from a comprehensive list of IFC classes and types—not just those under IfcElement, but all entities belonging to IfcObjectDefinition. This makes the editor more versatile and better suited for advanced modeling scenarios, especially when working with IfcTypes.
- BaseQuantities Support: The editor now allows you to specify base quantities for entities. This extension makes your quality assurance and data request processes more comprehensive by letting you select base sets directly matching the entities in the facet property.
- Performance Improvements: The IDS Editor now handles large and complex IDS files effortlessly, ensuring quick response times and smooth navigation for all your project needs.
- Metadata Enrichment: Metadata is now aligned with the IDS schema. Fields have been renamed for clarity, an "Identifier" field has been added for automated processes, and instructions have been updated for better usability.
These updates make the Solibri IDS Editor even more powerful and user-friendly. You can find more detailed information about the updates on Solibri Society.
Note: The IDS Editor is available to all Solibri Office users with a valid subscription or Service License agreement. Click here to try it out.
4. Autorun Now Supports External File Locations
Autorun now supports external file locations! You can now run all Autorun tasks from the following integrations:
- Autodesk Construction Cloud & BIM 360
- Trimble Connect
- Sharepoint & OneDrive
This opens up new possibilities for automating checks across your connected cloud environments.
5. Performance Improvements
Sometimes the simplest and smallest things can make a difference. Model closing is now dramatically faster—what used to take minutes now takes just seconds. Enjoy a more responsive experience when working with large or complex models.
